I tell myself what I tell myself in the title of my previous post and it gives me hope.

We learned yesterday that the hearing to terminate Omar's parents rights has been canceled. The judge is granting them more time to work their case plan. There will be another hearing in December, but not for termination.

For those who didn't know, we were counting on the November hearing, hoping we would have Omar in our home by December. We have done everything we can. We are prepared.

Beth is in MI and I leave tomorrow. So, we haven't had a chance to talk through what we think and what should be our next steps. I know I am a little sad and Beth says she is too.

Signs still point to hope. And I am going to keep following the signs until they say stop. Even then, I may still hold out hope.

Most everyone I told today offered their well wishes. I add those wishes in with my hopes and things begin to look brighter.

So, keep your fingers crossed. It's going to be a wild ride!
