POLITICAL UPDATE! - Chris Dodd puts hold on FISA!

UPDATE 10/22/07 - From Salon.com War Room: The additional $46 billion the president seeks today (for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan) is about one-and-a-half times as much as the amount Bush says the government can't possibly spend over the next five years on the State Children's Health Insurance Program.


UPDATE! Senator Chris Dodd is putting a hold on the FISA wiretapping law in which the Dems are rolling over to give Bush and the Republicans what they want b/c the Dems are scared of being branded as "wimps" - which they will be no matter what.

Please, go to Dodd's website and sign your support for his move to stop the wiretapping law from moving forward! This is an extremely important issue - we need to stand up for our civil liberties and Dodd is taking the lead!
