Knocked down

Wow, I caught a throat infection bug and it has put me down for the count.
I don't want to blog or write,
I don't want to surf the internet or even email,
I don't want to sleep and I don't want to just watch TV,
I just want to be well.

I used to be sick a lot with colds and flus,
so much so that I harbored a secret fear,
that maybe my immune system was weak,
but is has been two years since I was last ill.

Now a little part of me fears,
what if this one little cold
Is the beginning of a new cycle of sick.

I know though, if I keep a healthy state of mind
That in the end, I will be fine.
